Just before I left Florida, I caught a cold that was going around. Two days in the car (we drove to and from) and one day in the freezing cold rain later, I woke up feeling absolutely miserable. I’d love to pretend that this is what I look like when I’m sick, but this is just what I look like when I’m sick and can cleverly hide a red nose and dark circles with makeup. I spent most of my day with tissues strewn about me, watching Harry Potter and drifting in and out of sleep. But a hot shower and a freshly opened box of goodies from my friends at Urban Decay made me feel (and look!) like a new person, at least for awhile. Glittering, smokey eyes are such a nice pick-me-up – especially with a duo-chrome shadow that stands on its own, really – and this soon-to-be-launched sheer pink lipstick is a perfect companion.
