Lacy and I both got new bedding at @homegoods…an Lacy and I both got new bedding at @homegoods…and some festive holiday decor, too! #ad Swipe through to see more of my precious Santa kitty and my pink Christmas decor, and look at my stories for my FAVORITE find that you won’t see here!

It’s become a Christmas tradition to decorate not just our room, but also our bed — and this year I went to @homegoods in search of some new bedding and festive holiday pillows to add to it. As much as I loved the drama of our satin bedspread, it is such a pain to launder and really isn’t meant for regular use. Cotton is comfier and so much easier to care for, and I love the ease of swapping out the duvet covers. The entire King-size set (including shams) was under $60!

About the holiday decorations: If you’ve been following me for a while, you know *all* of my seasonal decor is from HomeGoods, which I’ve collected over the years. This year, I added a few new things to my pre-existing, well-loved decor that I hang every season. My main objective was to find holiday pillows and a few new Nutcracker-themed pieces, and I hit the jackpot when I found the two-pack of Nutcracker pillows, pink present, and pink fuzzy tree at one @homegoods store. The pastel gingerbread pillow was an early find that I brought home from our shoot in LA, and I added the pink reindeer duo to my collection of pastel deer. The wreath is also new (I moved the previous one into our dining room), and I even found a new bed for Lacy.

You might not realize what a big deal this is, but Lacy has always been *extremely* particular about her beds. Now that she’s a super senior, I’m extra concerned about having steps, cozy beds and heating pads to keep her happy and comfortable, but she rejects almost every one I bring home. It’s a Christmas miracle we found another bed she’ll sleep in! I think she likes that it’s not as fluffy on the inside. She’s like her mom (me!) and prefers a flat, firm foundation. #HGFinders
Christmas Keik Makes: Styling a retro, Christmas t Christmas Keik Makes: Styling a retro, Christmas tree-inspired wig.

Professional hair and wig stylists, please avert your eyes! While I did sign up and watch @carlbrownhair’s wig styling courses (and tried my best with my first wig), I decided to go rogue and attempt a double stacked holiday wig. I watched @jaymesmansfield for double stack tips and just went for it. Which is not like me, because I usually practice several times before I attempt anything that requires skill. Last year was the year of embracing “good enough” to keep myself from experiencing stagnation.

And of course, there’s a fully narrated Piece of Keik episode about this. I might repost it for the newer viewers around here!

I’ve been crafting and making new Christmas creations all week, so stay tuned for many more creative videos. #Christmaskeik #holidayhair

The R50 is a travel-friendly mirrorless camera and a great option for someone like me who likes to shoot photo and video interchangeably but doesn’t always want to bring their bulkier gear. Thank you for the new camera, @bh.creators!
@waltdisneyworld Dapper Dans please put me on your @waltdisneyworld Dapper Dans please put me on your group chat because this is starting to get embarrassing!

Years ago, I took a pic with the Dapper Dans in coordinating holiday looks but Bobby’s video was a Richard Splett special (iykyk) so I was determined to redo it. I thought third time would be a charm but no luck. 😂 Thank you to @colormemagic @colormeparis and @thisfellow for never judging my desire to infiltrate the Dapper Dans. Maybe we can try again next year!!

I wear our Clara dress from @ivycityco x @colormecourtney & @keikolynn a lot and I thought it might be helpful to film it every time I style it a different way, so you can see that even patterned babydoll dresses can be versatile! You can find this dress at keikolynn.com/clara which will redirect you to the exact listing on Ivy City, where you can find it available in sizes 00-34W. And remember we have a giveaway on the previous slide!

Which piece from our collection should I style next?
