Florida has a lot to offer: beautiful beaches, warm weather, and magical places like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Disney World. But the reason I'm there so often is because I'm a big time family girl, and I can't be away for too long without getting a little homesick. I also really like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Disney World - I'm not going to lie - but being that my family lives in South Florida, I spend most of my time there. The little ones: Roxy Mae (pictured), Jackson, Ryder, and Tessa (you're 17, Tessa, so you still count as a little one to me) grow up so quickly, and I hate missing out on milestones. Do you know that Tessa Marie is driving, now? Jackson and Roxy are growing like weeds, and Ryder is already running around and climbing everything in sight. I'm so lucky that I'm able to make the quick flight down so often, because I really do get to spend a lot more time with my family than most people I know. But still, I can't help but wish these kids would slow down the whole growing up thing. Can you just press pause until I come back down in March? I'd really appreciate it.

p.s. Want to join me in South Beach this March? Enter here for a chance to win a VIP trip with me to Cotton's 24 Hour Runway Show. But hurry, because this is the last week you can enter!

Gorgeous!

What a gorgeous dress, Keiko! And love the shoulder detailing on the sweater. I feel the same about my cousins- I'm the oldest of the bunch and the youngest just turned 16, which makes me feel dang old! ;)

Love the DV by Dolce Vita Dress from Urban Outfitters. The hem and lacy look are lovely. I like the way you paired it with the dark knee-high socks from Target. It's a pretty couture.
ReplyDeleteI love that sweater- the shoulders are fab!

I love the sweater! Are the studs heavy or do the work with the knit? I'm always afraid of buying a heavily detailed sweater because I'm afraid the weight will pull on the knit and leave it looking stretched and saggy.
ReplyDeleteThey're really lightweight - like hollow beads. I have worn this sweater a lot and haven't had any issues yet!
DeleteAmazing look. Love the dress and knee highs.

Aw Roxy Mae is so adorable and I love your white dress with cut-out details! It's nice to hear about people making an effort to keep in touch with family because it makes me sad to see a lot of young people leaving home for the big city these days and rarely keeping in touch, like they lost their appreciation for family amidst their busy new city lives!
