When you think of cotton, you might think of warmer weather, but I've been living in this Wink cotton utility jacket all season long. It's the most practical thing I own. It has an optional faux fur vest that can be worn separate or as a lining for extra warmth, the bottom half of the body zips free to make it a cropped jacket, and the hood even comes off. I like that I can wear it with just about anything, and also that it's extremely warm. Here, I'm wearing it with a dress and my Modern Vice Jetts, but I also wore it with jeans and muddy boots for a day of volunteering. It got a little beat up that day, but I think it gives it a little more character. As much as I like statement pieces, I also like to keep things in my closet that can be worn over and over in completely different ways.
