bad decisions make great stories

My outfit details:
Audrey sweater - c/o d.RA
high waisted polka dot shorts - Corey Lynn Calter
flats - c/o Seychelles

Kim's outfit details:
flower crown - she made it
sweater and jeggings - Urban Outfitters

During our visit in Nashville, we had the pleasure of staying at the Hutton Hotel. We stayed there last year and liked it so much, we decided to stay there again! I highly recommend it. The staff couldn't be friendlier and we felt right at home. We were so incredibly spoiled by the lovely accommodations and service, we got a little too used to it and thought it was our real life. We're reluctantly coming back to reality, and reality came in the form of a much less glamourous overnight stay.

As I type this, Kim and I are staying in a very sketchy motel that looks like it could be the set of a horror movie. We picked a bad time to get off the highway and since we're in the middle of nowhere, had to take what we could get. Which, come to think of it, is exactly how a lot of motel-based slashers start. We couldn't stop laughing, once we double locked the door and checked every potential hiding place for murderers or hidden bodies. Bad decisions make great stories, right?

p.s. Annnd the television just turned itself off. Definitely some ghosties up in here.

  1. Lol that's so true - bad decisions lead to the best stories (as long as no one gets genuinely hurt >.<)

  16. I know that it's the simplest thing ever, but I seriously love that painting in the background. It looks like sakura petals falling. So serene!

And don't worry about the sketch motel, as long as neither of you experiment with drugs or premarital sex, horror movies inform me you should be safe.
Maybe don't wear red in case there's a Star Trek crossover. Safety first.
