Makeup Monday: Bringing Brights Into Fall

assorted nail polishes from MAC, OPI and China Glaze (I couldn't settle on one, so I went with a few). 

All of this talk of oxblood being the color for Fall made me want to break out my brights and give this newly chilly weather an injection of vivid color. Don't get me wrong, I love the color oxblood (hate the name) and absolutely adore Fall, with all its festive flavors and layering options - but I also live for bright colors, no matter the season. I also kind of dread winter, so holding on to a little bit of Summer gives me a sunnier outlook on the impending temperature drop. Besides, Bobby digs it when I get bright pink lipstick all over his face. Or the opposite of that, but it does look pretty good on him, doesn't it? It really brings out his eyes.

  47. Hehee- I love bright pink lipstick and the one you features from Tom Ford looks gorgeous. I love deep lip shades for fall, but hot pink is still a staple of mine year-round. And I agree that it looks quite nice on my boyfriend's cheek ;)
