drizzling, dreary






Outfit Details:

La Marquise glasses - c/o BonLook
I did that thing where I wore every new piece I had, at once. Number one: it beats doing laundry when it's drizzling and dreary (or even when it's not). Number two: clearly, everyone (including that barn in the background) got the memo that oxblood is...say it with me...the color of the season. I often tease my friend Kimbly and say, "Kim loves a good bandwagon," so I know she'll love that I jumped on this one. Luckily, I do love the color, but since Kim has an aversion to reds, she'll probably have to sit this one out.

  57. I was super excited about those ankle boots, and then checked them out and EEP! totally not my price range, bummer!! The straps, little bit of fringe and modest wee heel are SO my thing! Well, maybe I'll save my pennies :).
    I've got an old pair of oxblood doc martens hanging around collecting dust some place, I guess I ought to bust those bad boys out. Air soles are best for jumping springiliy onto a band wagon after all.

    1. They're definitely not inexpensive, but they are SO special. I visited their headquarters and was blown away. Everything is handmade, in house, right in NYC. You don't see that anymore. It's really, really special.
