To NOLA, with love.

I apologize for the downtime on the blog; between our trip to New Orleans and the subsequent crazy work days that followed, I didn't have time to update. The girls (Helena, Lindsey, Kim, Christine) and I went down to NOLA for a little birthday celebration (note: this was NOT a sponsored trip). It's hard to believe that our little trip is over, and I don't think I'm alone in saying that I want to go back! We had the best time. I'm working on Makeup Monday right now, but for the moment, here are some instagram (follow me @keikolynn) snaps from our getaway in New Orleans.

Left to right, top to bottom: 1) A day in the French Quarter. Everyone kept saying it was 107 degrees and I don't doubt it. We found Christine's favorite daiquiri shop and cooled down for awhile.2) New Orleans sign3) Our friend Andi's hat and Lauren's drink; a day at Bacchanal after our rooftop pool party at Nick's. 4) We stayed in a suite at The Hotel Modern. Afterward, we went next door to the Maple Leaf to see the Rebirth Brass Band. That was one of my favorite experiences.11) Scarlet, The Hotel Modern's mascot. She wasn't feeling well on our last day there and they took her to the vet. I hope she is feeling better!12) The living room of another suite in The Hotel Modern. They let us in to check it out, but we liked our room more. I took a few pictures because our room was a mess and I wanted it to look like we were organized.13) Nick and Lauren14) Dinner at Domenica. We had a couple of family style dinners that were so much fun. Christine's birthday was celebrated at Nonna Mia. We stuffed ourselves silly!15) On Christine's birthday, we went to Paris Parker for a relaxing day of manicures, facials, and blowouts.
