Makeup Monday: What's In Her Makeup Bag?

If you've been reading my blog for more than a minute, you probably already recognize my friend Kimbly. I've been wanting to incorporate this feature into my regular Makeup Mondays for awhile now, so it's only fitting that I start with one of my nearest and dearest! Kim is famous for wearing makeup a drag queen would envy, and using her fingers in lieu of actual brushes. I like to think of her as a renegade makeup artist; she makes her own rules. And you know what? She makes it work! 
Describe your signature look: My signature look is colorful and usually glittery. I tend to lean more towards cool toned colors. Purples, pinks, and teals with a neutral base. I like glitter shadows and liners, although the eyeshadows tend to have some fallout on your cheeks, which doesn't bother me.
What's your beauty mantra?: More is more. I have no problem wearing bold eyeshadow and lipstick at the same time. Who made these rules up anyway? I'm not saying all the time, but it's nice to have the option. 

Name your top three must have products (and a little description of why you like them):

- "Mascara! I have very short, light eyelashes and it's amazing how much they pop with mascara. I'm currently obsessed with Benefit's They're Real! mascara." 

- "Foundation to even out my skintone. I've been using Clinique since I started wearing makeup because my mother wore it. It's light but has just enough coverage. I tend to use it as a concealer also." 

- "Lipstick to complement or contrast with my eyeshadow. I'm obsessed with MAC lipsticks (some favorites being Girl About Town, Bombshell, Impassioned, and Violetta) but I also really love Urban Decay's Super Saturated High Gloss lip colors (favorites being Crush, Big Bang, and F-Bomb)."

Who is your ultimate beauty icon?:

 "Jem! She's truly outrageous."
