Just looking at these pictures is making me break out into a sweat, since it is currently in the mid to high 90s. Would you believe that just a few days ago, I was actually cold in this outfit? It was windy and in the 60s. This wackadoo weather reminds me of Florida, where it can be raining one second and perfectly sunny the next. Or even better, raining on your lawn and dry in your driveway. We always blamed it on El Niño when I was younger, but truth be told, I had no idea what that meant. I used to just throw my hands up in the air and sigh, "That darn El Niño."
My little sis and friends (aka The Trendy Trio, Cab Ride Rascals, and other names I am just pulling out of thin air) are still in town, and time is flying by. I love when my little sister is in town! Now that I think about it, maybe Tessa brought this icky sticky hot weather with her from Florida. Nah, definitely El Niño.
As I am starring at the sunshine outside it's hard to believe (but oh so true) that we will be having non stop rain for the next 5 days....ahem, summer??
Anthropologie is the best for finding classic pieces with great twists. Love that sweater! Florida weather is the worst - especially when it's raining on one side of the street and hot & sunny on the other lol
I have this dress, and I love it! I almost didn't buy it from the second-hand store I spotted it in, but once I tried it on with a belt I didn't want to take it off. Naturally, your pairing is unique and only makes me more interested in wearing it in different ways. ^_^
The layering in this outfit was great and I agree with you about the weather. It is 90 now but it is supposed to be in the 50's tonight. It is hard to dress for the changes.
I love your sweater!
