Last weekend, Erin and I went to the first day of GoogaMooga, a food and music festival in Prospect Park. We didn't get to actually eat anything, since the lines were crazy and by the time we got to the front, they ran out. Boo! We were the guinea pigs, since it was the first day; I heard that Sunday went pretty smoothly. I was bummed to miss out on the food (though The Roots were pretty killer), but I'm hoping they'll repeat next year and work out the kinks. On the plus side, the weather was beautiful and we just laid on a blanket and enjoyed the weather, then left and went to a burger joint. Plus, Erin found that sweet Jurassic Park poster. I think that alone makes it a very winning day.

you have fantastic style!! xx

I love the sparkly nails!
ReplyDeleteWe had a similar experience at Googa Mooga. I waited in line for about an hour for pizza. Luckily, my friend was in the beer line for me and was able to get me 3 beers by the time I actually got the pizza! The Roots WERE great though. =)

This sounds very familiar to the first Gypsy Picnic Trailer Food Festival in Austin. The lines were insane, the trailers were running out of food. I thought it was silly that they were waiting for orders to start making food when they only had 3 things on the menu. Oh well. That poster is so cool! My bf is obsessed with Jurassic Park. I got him an autographed copy of the script and he was a happy boy that xmas. :)
