a pair of new shoes and a punk rock show to see

Well gee, I wonder why I've had a hard time kicking that sickness. I mean, I only wore open toed shoes in the rain and then went out to a show the same night (I wore a more sensible outfit for that, at least).

I want you to know that it was difficult for me to refrain from the obvious pun when titling this post. And if the pun isn't obvious enough, it was "It's raining ikats and dogs." I love a good pun, but I love The Shape of Punk to Come even more. How the two can coexist in one's world is beyond me. I'm a weird girl. But it keeps people on their toes, it does.
