Outfit Details:
Trina Turk pants and matching jacket - c/o Trina Turk (via gift card)
San Francisco shirt - vintage, thrifted (I've had this since for years and years...yet I've never been there)
This matching set came in the mail the day I was leaving for Florida, and I couldn't resist trying them on before leaving for the airport. They were as comfy as pajamas, so I immediately changed into the ensemble for the plane ride. I dressed it down with a vintage shirt and flats, but I plan on dressing it up with some heels and a blouse - perhaps this week. I can already sense that these pieces will be in steady rotation; wearing clothing that feels like pajamas is pretty much a dream. Ask Hef, he lives it on the daily. Although, his are actual pajamas. Pajamas and so many girlfriends...what a life.
As I stated before, I'm currently in Florida. Last weekend was my mom's birthday (on Easter!) and I came down to celebrate and spend time with family. It's a short trip, because I have to be back in time to co-host a fun little event with Christine and Natalie(details below). I've featured Lilla P on the blog before, and if you attended our blogger garage sale to benefit Women In Need, you might have been lucky enough to scoop up some of their pieces for amazing prices - they donated huge boxes to benefit the cause! Needless to say, their kindness and generosity only made me love the brand even more. Please come out and see us at their in-store celebration to mark their one year anniversary. Styling and beauty consultations, snacks and bubbly, discounts - what's not to love?
Make sure to RSVP early - you will get a great gift bag!!

I recently purchased a similar floral vintage set, and I'm also trying to think about making mine look less like pjs!
ReplyDeleteLove the PJ style outfit! And so wish I could come to the event, but unfortunately, I'm in Toronto Canada and can't come out. Maybe I'll plan my next NYC trip for when you're having a fun event like this!

Amazing pyjama look!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous print, and just the right colors too. I think this would look equally great with a blouse, which speaks to the suit's versatility. I have a Chicago tee, but I've never been.
ReplyDeleteCurrently obsessed with this pyjama look (actually my post today...). But with prints you took it to a whole other level. Love it!
