Seychelles Dream Closet Vol. 2: Keiko Lynn Groves from Seychelles Footwear on Vimeo.
Flickr seems to be down, at the moment - so today's outfit post will have to wait until tomorrow. In the meantime, check out this slightly embarrassing video from when my friends at Seychelles came to visit me in my tiny Brooklyn apartment. I asked my mom and Tessa to find some good pictures of me in my ubiquitous tie/blazer combo from senior year of high school, but apparently high school pictures of me are scarce...so you get to see some of me from Junior year, during my pins all over my bag phase. Woo!
p.s. Sorry, Jason (my prom date) - I didn't cut your head off (whoever took the picture did).

this video is absolutely adorable, keiko :) i love the background music. your wall is my favorite color, and looks so cute with the bedframe against it.
ReplyDeletealso, you're really brave to show us your junior high pictures! mine are buried in the abyss somewhere...
xx

ReplyDeleteIt's true, what you mentioned about anything goes in New York. In small towns, it's harder to get away with crazy clothes. Much easier in large cities because you're more anonymous, there's more choices and there's far crazier things than a chick in a prom dress.
Adorable video, I love the picture of you with your armful of bracelets! Some people are just born with style snd you are one of them!! xx, alison @crushworthymoms
ReplyDeletePs. Your dog and man are adorable as well!!
aw that was so cute! i loved it :)

Cute video. It's always fun to hear my favorite blogger's voices since all we usually get are images and written words. :)

ReplyDeleteThis is so endearing, Keiko. Especially adore your style philosophy, and of course love your adorable pets. x

It was wonderful to hear your voice & see you in "real" moving time (you are lovely). The video was great and I really enjoyed watching it. Thank-you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love the video. I love the lip color you are wearing:)
ReplyDeleteI love anything vintage inspired...i'd probably die to raid your closet!

Absolutly and adorable video... Love your fashion sense.
ReplyDeleteSigh...that's the appeal of living in the cosmopolitan areas. I have always lived in small-ish towns. While I love it, it can be a bit tiresome to deal with comments toward those who like to dress creatively.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing--I've always loved your outfits and it's nice to know how it all came to be. And I agree with the other commentators: your voice sounds very "you" and I also love that lipstick.
I am so very curious though: how on earth do you store your clothes? I could use advice--I'm a bit of a hoarder with my clothes but don't have a lot of space. I was hoping the video would be an opportunity to get a glimpse of your storage/organization ideas...
I love getting to see you when you were little! Those bracelets cracked me up! And Miku was so adorable!
