I had a completely different post planned for today (skincare) but had to reschedule for next Monday (it will 100% be posted next Monday!), so I scrambled to get this one together before midnight. Because I'm sure you all are tired of me saying "Makeup Monday...on Tuesday!" It just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Kim from Eat Sleep Wear and I had a lot of time to hang out in the past couple of weeks, and we got into a routine of watching TV and working on different projects at night. One night, we traded in the usual computer routine and gave our nails a little pick-me-up. I was inspired by these Kate Spade shoes that I posted here, so I chose a gold and turquoise combo. I thought of adding the black detail, but really liked it without it. Maybe next time!

Here's what I used: paper reinforcements (found in the office aisle of most stores), Orly Rubberized Basecoat, Ginger + Liz Got My Groove Back, MAC Salad Dressed, Out The Door fast drying top coat.

ooooh, beautiful!

it helps if you cut a little slit in the reinforcements. that way you can help them shape to your nail better!
