I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Joyus and Arrojo Studio to bring you a couple of hair tutorials that are really easy to replicate at home. The best part? Not only did we film it at Arrojo Studio, where I get my hair done, but I also got to work with my regular hair stylist, Tim DueƱas! I'm not sure if Tim knew what he signed up for when he started doing my hair, but I'm glad he agreed to be in the video:)
If you're not already familiar with Joyus, it's a site that features in-video shopping. That means you can click and buy any (or all - winkwink!) of the Arrojo products I used in the tutorials. Check out the video above, or you can view it directly on Joyus. Make sure to use the promo code "KEIKO" at checkout, which will give you double credits toward your next purchase.

I think it's so cool you always get to do the most amazing collabs!
ReplyDeleteOh that's cool! will give it a try, my hair are pretty wavy, so the first one wouldn't be much of a problem I think:)
ReplyDeleteSehar: The thing I like about the first look is that it's so low maintenance and is just a slightly more refined version of my natural hair texture. It just keeps it from getting frizzy and gives it a little more polish. Also, it takes like five minutes, tops.
ReplyDeleteVintage Hippo: Sometimes I have to pinch myself. This one was crazy, because when they approached me about it, they didn't even know that is the actual salon where I get my hair done. It was kismet!
ReplyDeletewow...really quick and easy! thanks!!

Worth it alone just to see how you get your fringe/bangs to not have a cowlick. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love the sleek look on you!! I so want that flat iron too.
ReplyDeletei always have the hardest time with my hair! even though its pretty straight and doesnt require much maintenance.. but this is amazing!
ReplyDeleteArrojo products are the best I have ever used. Unfortunately, they have so much perfume scent that I cannot use them. I wrote to them but never heard anything at all back, not a thank you for your comment or anything. I truly mean that they were the very, very best products ever except for the smell. I am still trying to find something to use. I think if they had unscented products they would sell a bunch of them. Every time I talk to anyone about products, they always say that they have customers wanting unscented products but they don't have any to offer. Please, please suggest they consider unscented products!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the tutorials!
Great tutorials! I do something kind of similar to the first one every day, except I just do it while my hair air-dries. I'm planning to do a tutorial soon :)

I really liked the video. I'll have to try that. It was interesting to hear your voice. Not what I expected (although I wasn't sure what I expected). It's funny when you read people's blogs and you think you know them but you really don't. Do you have reader you ever run into?
ReplyDeleteOh! Love Arrojo! I used to get my haircut by Amanda went I'd be in NYC for work. My hair hasn't been as good since!
