If I look miserable in this photo, it's because I was on no sleep, probably at my 24 hour mark. I used to be able to stay up all night and function the next day - college, you know, partying and stuff (okay, I was studying or updating my livejournal) - but now I go into Zombie mode. Believe me, I don't want to stay up. Insomnia hit me pretty hard the past few nights. Last night was the first time I was able to 1) get to sleep and 2) actually stay asleep. I've been a little stressed and it affected my sleeping. It also gave me a sweet nosebleed, which made me wonder if I'm just traveling through time like Desmond.

Sickly and stressed no more, I'm off to Tea & Sympathy with Karen and Kim. No more time traveling for me!

Oh I couldn't have ever guessed that you were on no sleep! You look gorgeous. And the lace shorts are so so pretty :)

I have the worst time finding shorts because the silhouettes are hard to navigate but I really like that these lace shorts almost look like a skirt. They aren't too baggy and they really suit your frame. If they had something a little bit longer, I'd have to snap them up.

I just thought you looked a little chilly! There's snow on the ground and my first thought was, "oh no she must be so cold!"

You look gorgeous, as usual. You truly are talented at looking polished and put together.

I have insomnia and I go to GREAT lengths to fall asleep at night, including hot showers, having a belly full of water, total darkness, melatonin, etc... best of luck to you!

Insomnia is the worst! I've had it for around 15 years now and can only sleep with prescription meds. I hope that yours was just a few days.
Loved the Desmond reference, too. Now I know you were a LOST fan, too!

You do look a bit tired, but still effortlessly lovely. Even if I did wear makeup, I'm not sure I'd have the motivation to wear it after being up 24 hours...Your layering is perfect; I love the use of different textures considering the colors are relatively similar.
