Outfit Details:
blazer - thrifted
sequin party dress - c/o Ali Ro
MAC clutch - c/o Rebecca Minkoff
vintage rhinestone bracelets - gifts from my mom
ring - Forever 21
lipstick - Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Crush
Babylonn heels - c/o Steve Madden
My third (and final) outfit for the Steve Brings It! Holiday Campaign, I took a note from Satine's "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" scene in Moulin Rouge. Of course, I'm not wearing a single diamond, so I'm essentially best friendless, but rhinestones work just fine for me.
In addition to my party playlist, I compiled a little list of party tips:
- Do it yourself (or fake it and buy it on Etsy). Handmade or customized decorations make a party personal and special; store-bought can't compete!
- Create a signature cocktail to go with your theme, and make sure to have a non-alcoholic version, too (for people like me).
- Serve crowd-pleasing finger foods that are easy to make, so you don't have to spend all night in the kitchen. My favorites? Crostinis with fresh ricotta and honey or caramelized onions, mini caprese skewers or a good cheese plate.
- Make a homemade photobooth with a fun backdrop and props, complete with a tripod, camera and remote - or let your guests be the event photographer with instant film cameras!
Use my code KeikoLynn15 for 15% off on SteveMadden.com with free shipping (clearance is excluded). This code will remain valid until 12/31/11 @ 11:59pm EST, so take advantage before the holidays!
