The second outfit I chose for the Steve Brings It Holiday Campaign was inspired by Harold Zidler, the owner of Moulin Rouge (you can see my first outfit here). When they asked me to create a party playlist for this theme, I thought of the overall message of the movie:

“The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”

I didn’t want to make it a literal Moulin Rouge soundtrack playlist, so I only sneaked in the original of Roxanne. The rest are fun love songs and a couple with a little bit of mild heartache. You know, the kind of heartache you can still dance and sing to. My Pandora station (inspired by my original playlist) can be found here.

“Just Like Heaven” – The Cure
“This Charming Man” – The Smiths
“My Love” – The Bird and the Bee
“Song Beneath The Song” – Maria Taylor
“Young Turks” – by Rod Stewart
“You and Me Song” – by The Wannadies
“Don’t You Want Me” – by Human League
“PYT” – Michael Jackson
“Nothing Better” – The Postal Service
“Roxanne” – The Police
