One Day I'll Fly Away

Outfit Details:
Foley + Corinna embroidered sequin cover-up - c/o Foley + Corinna
tank dress - H+M
vintage rhinestone necklace - from my mom's store
Hadleyy heels - c/o Steve Madden
lipstick - MAC Lasting Lust pro longwear

I partnered with Steve Madden for the Steve Brings It Holiday Campaign, and I couldn't be more excited about my assigned theme - Moulin Rouge! If you knew me in high school, you might remember I was borderline obsessed with that movie. I even dressed as Satine for our school's parade (our drama club picked Moulin Rouge as our float theme), and my friends and I would ride around in Jason's car and listen/sing to the soundtrack. Yeah, we theatre kids were really cool.

This first look was inspired by Satine's peignoir, from the scene where she first meets Christian (and thinks he is the Duke). I have two more looks to share with you in the coming weeks, so check back and see what I came up with - and make sure to check out Steve Brings It to see everyone else's themes and the looks inspired by them. I'd be lying if I said I didn't consider borrowing Christine's can-can dance costume, but I refrained.

Use my code KeikoLynn15 for %15 off on SteveMadden.com with free shipping (clearance is excluded). This code will remain valid until 12/31/11 @ 11:59pm EST, so take advantage before the holidays!
