Foley + Corinna Boxy Leather Tote - c/o Foley + Corinna

Here's another set of photos from Elie Tahari's ETC, when I made a diary of my day. Naturally, I couldn't have a Sunday without brunch at one of my favorite spots in Park Slope - it's a cute little spot with a nice outdoor area, slightly tucked away from the busier avenue. Not that Park Slope is all that hectic. One of the things I love about my neighborhood is how calm it is, in comparison to the rest of the city. It provides a nice balance! What's your neighborhood like?

my neighborhood is just getting exciting! you should come over to franklin ave in pro-cro for some awesome mexican food and candy! i do have a soft spot in my heart for ps though.

ReplyDeleteLove this blouse and bag! That sounds like the perfect brunch spot..my neighborhood is probably a less cool version of yours haha We're in the historic district at the center of the city/main st.

You look great in those shorts and that cute hat. I really love the blouse too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit. I absolutely love the shorts! I am so accustomed to Elie Tahari's pretty suits that I purchase for church, but never ever thought they made more casual pieces. Love it!
ReplyDeleteDid you get that cuff from Lucky?! I have the same one I always feel like it makes me a look like a member of a total badass superhero club. I need two and it could be wonder woman. I'm totally digging it out to wear tomorrow. Thanks!

I'm sort of across the river from you in Hoboken. Sundays are a great day to see all the puppies and babies out and definitely to grab some stuffed french toasts for brunch. :)

cute shorts! I live right across from Columbia and it is eerily quiet, but a very easy train ride away from the hustley bustley....so nice balance I guess. the best part is all the girls at Barnard across the street from us who think it's cool to not wear much clothes and leave their blinds way open.....I'm thinking of making a sign in my window that says 'if you can read this, guess what we can see?'
ReplyDeleteYay!
ReplyDeleteMy neighborhood is the same as yours....because I'm in the Slope as well. :)
...Benchmark is pretty good. Their blood-orange mimosas our extremely good.
you look amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love it! My neighborhood is quite quaint, but it is in the middle of a populous city. There are tons of people and eating areas, but the neighborhoods are nice and tucked behind all that, so it doesn't get too noisy.
ReplyDeleteVery cute outfit! I love your bag. :D

when will your store recuperate from the face lift? Did the operation have complications?xD
ReplyDeleteIt's all in the details and you definitely nailed it. Such a fun spin to a suit. The shorts are my favorite. You blouse matches the fold over part of the shorts so well!

My neighbourhood is like disneyland lately, with all the squirrels, birds, chipmunks and groundhogs running about getting ready for the winter.
ReplyDeleteAdd to that kids playing in the streets (and somehow surviving), the smell of bonfires in the evening air (tis the season), and leaves starting to cover the ground, and that would be my neighbourhood. I like it!
Yours looks cute - Being able to walk everywhere is a perk. it's one of my favourite things about the big city (which I do not live in anymore).
Do people call you "Keik" for short?
Leah
You are cute as a button on that sweet park bench:)
ReplyDeleteLove the blazer girlie!

Love your look! I'm from Queen NY so my neighborhood is kind of calm and quite. What I mostly like from it is the Flushing Meadow Park Lake, going there is the best!

The street we live in is a quiet dead end street. Plenty room for the children and ourselves to play outside :-) But then again, the whole village is pretty calm and rustic. Sometimes I long for the noise and liveliness of the city, but in the end I always know I belong here. Here are my roots.
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely!
Aw, the glasses and blazer combo looks super sweet.

ReplyDeleteMy neighborhood is kind of the same same. I nice quite street with a pretty walking median. And it's right smack dab in the middle of a busy city. I love it!

ReplyDeletemy neighborhood in historic downtown Bethlehem is quiet on the outskirts, but more bustling near the shops and restaurants. I love it. hundreds of huge old trees and brick or slate sidewalks... it's beautiful.

Love being a part of a city but not right in the middle. I'm DT S.F. and can pretty much walk anywhere... not in the center of union square which is nice... though we still get our fair share of crazies yelling at night :)!!

ReplyDeleteLove the bag! It reminds me of the MAB by Rebecca Minkoff but I like the details and size of this one much more.
ReplyDeleteI really wish it came in some bright colors!
Those shorts are so darn cute.
ReplyDeleteThat outfit looks just fantastic!I love it...everything look great:0
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit, love the navy blue. It seems quite unreal that there's a calm neirbourhood in NY (I've never been there, so I'm speaking based on silly cliches). But, I think it's to be pretty nice, such a good way to survive in the big city chaos.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost unfair how pretty you are! this outfit is adorable. I love the hat and the blazer...and the bag...you know what? I love everything!
