little cape










Outfit Details:
Miss Patina dress - Emerging Thoughts
vintage cape - from my mom
hat - H&M
Keiko belt - had it since I was a kid
socks - Nordstrom
Seychelles Hawk wedges - Gilt
boxy tote - c/o Foley + Corinna
rings - vintage and Forever 21 
nails - from the Urban Decay Holiday Nail Kit (we went for manicures)


My style has changed quite a bit over the years; I tend to go through phases, like an angst-ridden teenager. Still, I have a collection of pieces that seem to make their way into whatever current wardrobe situation I have going. I always come back to this cape - it's the first thing I ever wore on this blog. Of course, I guess the belt trumps the cape. That belt has been in my possession almost as long as I've had horses (twenty-two years).

    it is SO funny that your wrote what you wrote, bc i was just about to say this outfit made me breath a sigh of relief. sometimes i get a bit sad ( and i mean this in no offense at all) but i used to feel like i related more to your vintage happy-go-lucky type of style when your blog first started out. i know your style changes throughout time and i still love your posts but this post definitely brought me back for a second! ive been following your blog for years now, and it is good to know that the vintage loving cutesy keiko is still there!! and so nice to know that youre down to earth enough to say your style has changed with time!! ah... just <3 ya!!
