Joy Cioci















I've been absent for a few days due to two reasons: rarely being home and having the worst internet, ever. It tends to drop out at night, and that's the only time I've had free.

Luckily, however, it seems to be working at the moment (knock on wood). All the better, since I couldn't wait to share these photos with you from. My last show of the day, Joy Cioci,
was perhaps my favorite so far, with its simply beautiful collection and romantic hair and makeup. Sometimes the most straightforward clothing is my favorite; I like looking at a collection and thinking how I would wear the hell out of each and every piece.

  5. I can appreciate the extreme art of certain shows, runways, etc, but it's nice to see something that is wearable--- down to the hair, makeup, etc. I actually prefer it.

    And isn't it so irritating when the internet cuts out like that? Mine does it on weekends, usually. Super awesome. (Granted it always comes back within a couple hours, but it's so frustrating when I need to do something important!)

  20. I definitely agree. I mostly only enjoy looking at collections that I would wear. This is amazing. I WOULD LOVE to have that orange cutout dress in my closet! It is so damn beautiful. And that sweeping hat with the yellow dress... Just, wow.

  22. there is such a softness and fragility to each piece, a true bygone portrait of feminism, which, of course, is still so beautiful.

    i agree, at times, i just want to look at beautiful clothing that i know i could actually and would actually wear.

  25. Rather chic, yes ... not all of it works for my personal taste, but I do appreciate the design, just the same. However, not sure I would have put that yellow dye right down the front/middle of the pants.

  26. WOW, this is such a gorgeous collection! I epecially love the black top in the 2nd picture, the orange frilly dress in the 5th picture, and the pink, purple and orange dress in the 10th picture (probably my fave out of all these pictures!) Every single piece is absolutely gorgeous, though!
