Nine West Runway Relief: Behind the Scenes

I’ve been hanging onto these photos since May, when I attended the Nine West Runway Relief shoot to capture some behind the scenes shots. The Nine West Runway Relief Program raises funds and awareness for the CFDA’s charitable organization, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC). While on the set, I had the chance to meet (and fall a little bit in love with) spokesmodel Carolyn Murphy, who donated her time and a financial contribution toward the program.

I also had a chance to chat with Nigel Barker, who photographed the campaign, as well as several of the other models who, as you can probably tell, seemed to be having a blast on this shoot for a wonderful cause. Each participating model will be outfitted with a pair of limited edition Runway Relief boots from Nine West, along with a fitbit to track each step they take during fashion week, from castings and fittings to after parties and beyond. Nine West will donate $1 for each mile they walk, along with a designated donation – and all of the proceeds from the sales of the limited edition boots, tank top (designed by Leslie Fremar) and messenger bag will go to FTBC. You can also make a contribution by sponsoring a participating model here or donating directly.

Models, get your fitbits ready!
