I wore this yesterday evening, but the weather was still way too hot to wear even the most lightweight layers. This is why you shouldn't get dressed before checking the weather or going outdoors. I pretty much melted. But somehow, my makeup stayed in place! You win some, you lose some.

Today, I learned my lesson and dressed appropriately for the weather. High five!

  3. I have a love hate relationship with Summer. I love tanks and the sun and all that stuff but I hate dressing for summer in the sense that, I can't layer over my tanks!! I live in SoCal where it can be blazing HOT! I feel like my summer looks always end up being the same. Boring tanks and maybe some shorts or summer dresses. Any advice?

  6. I'm not good at dressing for the summer, I dislike feeling hot and I think autumn winter clothes are prettier! I take a bit of a fashion hiatus in the summer!

It's like a really cool new twist on a classic! And I understand...it's so hot! Hate to say it, but I'm ready for fall!   54. Kat: Cotton! Breathable fabrics make such a difference. Pick clothing made from lightweight, breathable fabrics and either flow away from the body or have a good amount of wiggle room. It was in the mid 90s today and I was pretty comfortable in a cotton maxi and sandals.
