Crazy Cat/Dog Lady

You'd think I never gave my animals any attention, by the way they constantly follow me around and greet me with enthusiasm even when I'm gone for five minutes. It's actually the opposite - they're all used to me working from home and spending all of their time at my feet, on my lap or next to me. In short, I've raised a bunch of needy, overtly affectionate animals. Case in point - I can't take a picture without any or all of them trying to get my attention. Today, it was Lacy and Miku.  How cute are they?





p.s. On the topic of kitties: I need your help! If you're in the NYC area and are looking to adopt a cat or kitten, please check my facebook page. A friend of mine (in Park Slope, Brooklyn) is looking for a home for his two kitties (they're sisters - have to be adopted together) and I also posted pictures of three kittens who are currently being fostered in Astoria, Queens. Please spread the word and help us find great homes for them!

p.p.s. There seems to be some confusion...I am NOT giving my animals up for adoption. I'm helping someone else!

  1. Love the fringe top! The detailing on the back is just too awesome! And Lacy and Miku are adorable! My two pups follow me. EVERYWHERE. When I leave, the sit and stare at the door until I get back home from work. Kinda creepy actually. But cute. :]

  3. That's the coolest fringed item of clothing I've ever laid my eyes on. Sigh. I love how it looks so good with a sweet floral dress! Also, your pets seem sooo lovable; my chihuahua's kind of spoiled with attention too!

    I feel ya on the pic situation...my little furries are super needy but I only have myself to blame :) I feel like Elmyra from Tiny Toons...just wanna hold them and squeeze them and never let 'em go!! Since I work from home as well, I'm sure I'm just as needy as they are :D

  8. Kitty and puppy! My roomie's dog and cat are like that, too, though the kitty is really needy; every time Mommy's home, he goes "mew mew mew mew mew mew mew," wanting to be fed even though he already was a while ago.

  9. Keiko, I had been home for 3 months and my cats and dogs had grown so attached. They compete for attention so I spent most of my time catering to their every little need.   13. I would love to adopt some kitties. My mom loves cats, too, and we live in Queens, but what's preventing us from being able to take care of any pets is that the regular vet check-ups are so expensive! :(((( Poor kitties...

  14. So lovely, the fringe and frills are perfect together! The last photo is too funny,they are so freakin adorable! My kitty and dog are the same way..they cry when I leave for a second and if I'm petting one I have to pet the other at the same time haha

  54. My dog is the same, any time I try and take pictures he creeps into the frame. I think he fancies himself as a bit of a model ;)
