Admittedly, I didn't even leave the house on this day (Monday). I stayed home, sneezed a lot, did Makeup Monday and made one garment. One. It was an extremely unproductive day. I'd use the excuse that I'm sick but I'm always sick, so you'd think I would get used to it. Despite my lack of productivity and abundance of the sick, I maintained a pleasant disposition. There's something about shapeless loungewear, a flower crown, bright eyes and a beautiful puppy that is magic. When you put them all together, it's impossible to be down.

  6. its so funny. i just checked your paige while listening to mumford & sons, my favorite band. i just so happened to be listening to after the storm and part of the lyrics goes "with grace in your heart and flowers in your hair" which is so similar to the name of your post. i love it!

  21. Hey Keiko - I thought this worth mentioning since, like me, you seem to be sick frequently. I grew up w/pets so allergies never crossed my mind, but it turns out that I'm actually very allergic to my little cat buddy, Elvis. I now use pet dander wipes to wipe him down every day, and vaccuum a little more frequently. I also ran an air purifier in the room he frequents for a bit. It's made a world of difference. Since you also have some furry friends at home, I thought it worth suggesting in case you hadn't tried it yet.
