(my friend Holly)
In the words of Rogue Wave, "Screw California." Sunny Cali has claimed another friend! At this rate, I'm bound to be quite lonesome. Kim recently returned to Los Angeles, and now Holly is also moving back.
We had a cozy lunch at Tea and Sympathy to bid Holly farewell. There's nothing like a pot of tea, a hot casserole and a bowl of custard soaked cake on a cold day, but the circumstances are a bummer. Come on, California. Please stop stealing my friends.

aw, sorry to hear that :( my best friend courtney also was stolen by LA, and its so so far away! i love your custard colored shirt, and how it matches the boots and gold belt. you are too cute and your friends scarf is perfect!

ReplyDeleteI'm a Cali girl (but no longer live there), and I can see why people are migrating over there. Quite tragic really, but who can blame them right?
ReplyDeleteI'm enamored with all the mustard hues, Holly's boots, and your little rucksack...you both look adorable!

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you're losing another friend to Cali....but now it means you have a reason to visit, right?
California is awesome, if you haven't been.
I know NYC is definitely rad too, but instead of seeing it as losing a friend, you should consider it gaining an opportunity! ;)

Don't blame California. Kim and I had a lovely day of apartment hunting together recently. We even had a nice little lunch in the rain under an umbrella in Echo Park.

"Friends are like stars. You may not always see them, but you know they are always there!"

I think what I really love about your outfits is the fact that you can not be categorized into a particular style. You wear everything not caring about what type it falls into and make everything look very distinctively you.
