I've been putting off getting a haircut for two reasons: money and length. I made a strange decision to cut off my long hair a few years ago - it was above chin length! I regretted it almost immediately and have been impatiently waiting to get back to longer locks. I know I'm way overdue for a trim, but when you're looking for length, even a trim sounds like a chore. It has now been months and months since I've had a cut or color, which is why I always have the messy updos. Now that the weather is cooler, I have rediscovered the magic of hats and their ability to conceal bad hair. I promise, ol' head of hair, I will give you a style and trim and possibly even a lovely color in the coming months. I'll do it even faster if Kitty Boos will get a job and start taking care of his vet bills.

Edit: Someone requested a photo of me with short hair...here you go!

Really nice outfit! And I get the whole not wanting to cut your hair thing! You always say an inch and they take three! I decided to cut my A line extreme bob back to a straight length and I miss the hair on my shoulders! (but I had to do it, the ends were dead :/)
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit and I love your long hair it's taken me well over my year to get my hair long again!
ReplyDeleteyou look amazing dear!kisses ♥

Gorgeouuuus! I'm going to steal that Coach jacket! :)
ReplyDeletePerhaps it is a myth, but I have heard that regular trims help your hait grow a bit quicker... it is nice to see it out anyway!
ReplyDeleteamazing shoes! love the way you've put the outfit together, love the contrasting materials and colours.
ReplyDeletecan't imagine you with short hair...

i love your glasses (L)
ReplyDeleteLove the dress and jacket together :)
ReplyDeleteI have the exact situation with my hair. I chopped my long hair off into an a-line bob in '08 and it's now pretty much back to its long glory but I'm always in the mindset that I can't cut it because it needs to get longer!
I'm very jealous you can pull off a beret, its something I've never been able to figure out!
ReplyDeleteI cut my hair above my chin just a few days ago, only because its so much easier to care for!
And those shoes are to DIE FOR! I'm totally in love ;)
don't worry, i think your hair looks great. long can be just as easy or easier than short, in my opinion. loving those shoes!

ReplyDeleteYou are a serious inspiration.
PS. Your hair is gorgeous whatever you do with it!
I don't think you need a trim, your long locks are just so pretty! And love the adorable preppy glasses paired with the moto jacket. Throwing in the dainty dress just makes the outfit such a wonderful concoction.

ReplyDeleteI'm big on long hair, so have fun! Granted I've always cut my own hair since I was 8, which saves even more money.
ReplyDeleteTotally with you on being reluctant to cut hair when growing it out. I got mine cut to about chin length and when it was done I hated it - I cried!
