I'm back! Annnd I'm a little sick. What a surprise! While I was home, my grandma took me to get a flu shot. The pharmacist told me it would be about two weeks before it kicked in. Needless to say, I came down with a cold less than a week later. Really?! It's like my body is giving the finger to vaccines everywhere.
Every time I get a cold, I think of the little mouse I used to have: Mr. Sniffles. His name was originally Mousey, which is what we all called him anyway, but I named him Mr. Sniffles because he always seemed to be sneezing and cleaning his cute little nose. We inherited him from my Uncle Jeremy (who is more like a cousin since we're close in age) when he and his family moved to Virginia. We also kept Birdy, whom I promptly renamed Feathers. Obviously, my family has a talent for naming animals. Hello, I have a cat named Puppy.
Love love,
Keiko Lynn
I'm taking it easy today and catching up on emails, editing, etc. Tomorrow, I'm back to work. I have two more updates coming today, so please check back. I'm trying to catch up!
Aw, Keiko!! Feel better! You've been too busybusy. In any case, I adore your outfit. You look so comfy cozy, and just darling in that skirt! I really wanted to get one in cream, but alas, it was see though. Not a good look for me. I might have to check it out in pink now!
My cat's name is Kitty, and when I was growing up the people across the street had a dog named D-O-G. When they called him it sounded like "Deeohgee", and I think I was around 14 before I finally figured it out.
I wish we had Target here in the uk :( Really pretty skirt and wedges :) I've also picked up a cold from somewhere. So annoying when I'm trying to get on with artwork!
I absolutely love that skirt and almost bought it. Now I wish I had. Hopefully the next time I go to Target it's still there. So adorable.

love your outfit as well as the vintage bureau behind it. the whole image really gets pulled together by the textured, worn-in look of the background.
ReplyDeleteOnly found your blog yesterday (c/o Kendi Everyday) and already I think I'm officially addicted.
ReplyDeleteMay I ask what lip color you're wearing in this pic? Whatever it is, I absolutely adore it!
Hope you're feeling better soon!
