Glamour!






A lot of you have emailed me or tweeted about it, but I forgot to post about it. I'm in this month's Glamour! They asked me to style a Chanel jacket, which made me insanely nervous. Not because it was going to be featured in a magazine, but because that freaking thing cost over 14 times what I paid for my last car. Okay, so that might also mean I had a ridiculously cheap car, but still. I was afraid to touch it, let alone wear it and depreciate its value. Such a beauty! Luckily, I returned it in the same pristine condition in which it was delivered. This might seem like a small feat to you, but to those who know me best or have witnessed my level of clumsy (hi, Christine! Thanks for helping me clean the food off my skirt at last night's formal dinner), this is a goddang miracle.

    And I know exactly what you mean. Many times I've lusted after something beautiful but thought I couldn't justify buying something that cost half as much/twice as much as my cheapo car, haha :)

    And yah, I would have been so scared to ruin that jacket. I don't have the best luck with expensive items. That's one of the reasons I can't justify buying anything expensive! I'd be too scared to wear it!

  12. Oh man...I would've been nervous as all get out to touch that thing.

    While in Paris I almost bought a vintage Chanel cardigan at some Flea Market/Antique Market in Nice. But it wasn't my size (size Giant) and I didn't think it fair to take something I'd never wear. But it was beautiful and about $200 CAD.

  67. you're so adorable, and always pretty... but... the bow belt - it just doesnt fit.
    The yellow colour of it
    it just doesnt work with the rest - with the white, blue and the nude colour of the shoes...
