Let a smile out and show your teeth








Do you like how I balanced out the picture where I look miserable with a bunch of smiling photos? Yeah, I did that on purpose. I was probably thinking about the fact that I'm about to turn 26. Let's not talk about it. Luckily, I had such a great week, I haven't really given it much thought - and that is something, because I'm holding onto my youth for dear life.

Rebecca Minkoff made all of our weeks/months/years by letting us each pick out a bag of our choice. I had no idea she had that surprise planned - I was even excited and surprised by the custom silly bandz they had for us. It doesn't take much to make me happy. You should have seen us all deciding on what bag to take. It was interesting how each of us gravitated toward completely different bags; there was something for all of us. Naturally, I went straight for this fuchsia number - it is the exact same shade as my favorite [discontinued] lipstick, MAC Pink Poodle. Even better - it's called the MAC clutch. Meant to be? I think so!

How many people do you know who would choose a purse based on their favorite lipstick color? Pretend like I'm the only one!

  5. my eye was instantly drawn to your heels (despite the gorgeous pink bag and lippy. i actually have a Coach bag that i love in that color! i got it when i was like ten! XD yay for staying young at heart) and then i saw that they were Jeffrey Campbell. duh. i don't know why, but i am severely attracted to almost all of his footwear.
    anyway, i love this outfit. and happy early birthday! i hope it's a really great one. =]

  12. keiks--i don't want to hear it--i just turned 30 AND popped out a little person this year. 26 is no big deal! hahaha. and btw, the little white/pink seersucker dress took me through many adorable months of pregnancy. so thanks for that.

    any plans for baby-doll clothes in the future? if so i have a very cute and willing model.

  18. I can't say I've done something like this before-- but I gotta say, I absolutely adore how the lipstick and purse match! And I've been thinking about wearing such a bright pink color on my lips for awhile, but haven't quite taken "that plunge" yet.

    i have a love-hate relationship with MAC. try so hard not to fall in love with limited edition lipsticks. but fail... miserably. *fingers crossed* they re-release pink poodle.
    i JUST turned 26 ... end it's been extrodinary so far. full of tears and laughter. i've lost friends and made new friends. discovered i'm stronger than what i give myself credit for. i hope your 26th is just as amazing =)

It's such a shame that the lipstick is discontinued - I hate it when I finally find a product I love and then it's gone! - but the color really reminds me of the Lime Crime lipstick called Centrifuchsia. Ha, I swear I don't work for them (and I'm not a spambot!), I just recently ordered that color and am waiting for the package with bated breath. :) You can find it at

  50. 26 is soooo young! I'm 32 and love every minute of it. Seriously - your 30's are amazing years, so instead of feeling sullen about getting older you should be excited that you are one year closer to a new, amazing decade in your life. :)
