I get really excited when I'm in Japanese magazines, because as a mere Hapa, I have Asian envy. ViVi did a little feature on DIY fashion and it looks like I'm in good company - hi, Tavi! I bought this dress at H&M before I even moved to New York (I was just visiting). The sleeves hit right at the waist line and were oddly puffy at the bottom, making me look like Humpty Dumpty. I shortened the sleeves and also the hemline, adding a black trim to both. As for the shoes, I just put on some cute little vintage shoe clips that my mom gave to me. Voila, a [slightly] new outfit!
Outfit Details:
dress: H&M, modified by me
bow sash: available at Postlapsaria.com
Cambridge Zip Top Tote: courtesy of Coach
shoes: Target
shoe clips: from my mommy
Love love,
Keiko Lynn
