I know you guys are used to seeing me in ankle breakers, but I have been living in these all week. They are like pillows for your feet. Darlingtonia, how do you do it? My troubled tooters (sounds like foot-ers...it's what Tessa used to call them) thank you, kindly.
Once I'm not sick - and believe me, I'm getting there! - I'm sure I'll revert to my usual heels. But for now, and at least one day a week from now on, I'm going to treat my maltreated toes to a cushiony pair of flats. I guess I forgot what comfort feels like.

I wrecked my feet years back when I spent three years working at an airport -- regulation heels + walking miles of airport every day = unhappy feet.
Now I'm a teacher and still on my feet all day, so I appreciate cute flats. I might just have to get the same pair you did, because I love the color combination. :)
