Rebecca Minkoff

NYFW has been over for almost a week but you'll have to pardon me, because I'm way behind. I have been extremely ill for the past few days and I have posts waiting in queue.

One of the first presentations I attended for fashion week (and actually remembered to photograph) was Rebecca Minkoff, whose collection was charmingly girly and readily wearable. I appreciate collections that I can easily picture in my closet. I often prefer the accessible to ground-breaking; I suppose I'm a very practical girl.

I know the clothing and handbags were the focal point, but I couldn't help but fall in love with the makeup. The lighting and my poor photography skills don't properly represent the popsicle stained lips and rosy cheeks...but I intend to copy this look and soon!

You can check out the rest of the collection here.

Love love,
Keiko Lynn

I've been seeing that high bun all over the place but haven't been able to muster up the courage to attempt it myself. Maybe the soft romantic makeup helps balance out its extreme slick look.
