Creative Alternatives to Doing Laundry.

First things first - have you uploaded a picture of you with your favorite bag (any bag at all) to Tweet My Bag? Rebecca Minkoff will be choosing a winner to receive one of her bags for free! What are you waiting for? Seriously you guys, enter! I want to see one of my readers win.

I made this Maisy dress the other night, with intentions of putting it up on the site. Then I wore it, because I haven't done laundry and I had nothing to wear. Really. It's ridiculous. I even made another dress to wear yesterday - how backwards is that? I don't want to do laundry, so I make myself something. Today I am in pajamas and tomorrow, I swear I'll get some laundry done. Really. I'll probably end up selling both of the dresses after I wash them anyway, at a discounted price. So if you don't mind wearing something I've already worn once, you might want to keep an eye out for discounted dresses!

Outfit Details:
vintage hat - thrifted
Maisy jersey dress - Postlapsaria
studded belt - from my mom's store (I think)
tights - H&M
Her Majesty heels - courtesy of Seychelles
Rebecca Minkoff Nikki bag - on loan from Rebecca Minkoff and Tweet My Bag
vintage 70s jacket - a hand-me-down from my mom:)

Love love,
Keiko Lynn

p.s. Due to FTC regulations, bloggers are required to fully disclose when receiving free products or compensation for any posts. I would like to note that I am not being paid or compensated with free products (the bag is on loan) for this collaboration; I just happen to really like playing dress up with nice things and the gal behind Tweet My Bag is really, really cool. It was fun to participate!

Your outfit reminds me of autumn, complete with spiced pumpkins and leaves and whatnot. :)

I think your hair curled like that in the cream beret is gorgeous! I also envy how you can just MAKE a dress as an alternative to doing laundry. Maybe the less laundry you do, the more productive you'll be! haha

one of your cutest outfits yet! so flattering :) i'd totally buy this. plus i doubt you're dirty so no one should care that you wore it lol

i imagine doing laundry in the city must be a pain! i can make it for a long time without doing laundry except in the sock department! so i'm stuck doing it at least every two weeks!f

very cute, and so funny because I just did the same thing kinda. I have had a bright yellow plaid skirt on my etsy page for a while, and then just decided to take it back and wear it because I don't own anything bright and wanted to cheer myself up!

That orange looks DIVINE on you! Way to work it!

Thank you for including in your post the FTC regulations. I think it is so very important to state when something is being sponsored or "paid for" by someone whether with free stuff or money.

Each piece is just as charming and so superb, honestly it's inspiring me to go out and give a whack of change to my closet, sitting all dreary like a dull winter's day. Too cute you made a dress instead of doing laundry! Sometimes I like waiting to do laundry for a really long time because it makes me wear things in my closet that have been hiding in there forever. Plus, if I decide I'd rather do laundry than wear a dress in the closet, it's time to get rid of the dress, I clearly don't like it anymore!

I LOVE peter pan collars. I also love to sew- - I'm sure you make your own pattern, but I was wondering if you knew of any good patterns for a nice simple peter pan collar dress (mccalls, simplicity...etc)
I can't find any anywhere :(
