Cupcake

Outfit Details:
Handmade dress - Postlapsaria
shoes - Alice + Olivia for Payless
Full skirted trench - H&M
Miku - descended from a rainbow

Kim's ultimate goal in life is to look like a cupcake whenever possible (she's a high achiever), so I dedicate this post to her.

Actually, I dedicate this post to both Kim and Miku, whose original name was Cupcake. Miku was a surprise from my mom, who adopted her from one of Tessa's classmates. When she was born, they named her Cupcake. My mom immediately vetoed that name - Keiko and Cupcake is just asking for trouble. I went through many suggestions - Bunny, Unicorn, Unico, Cheese - before my mom vetoed them all and named her Miku. I guess she's just better at naming cute little puppies, because Miku suits her well. I do call her Bunny, Princess Unicorn, Mooku Las Vegas (I don't know what to tell you), Mikanese, Mikachu and a million other names and she's definitely a cupcake in personality, but nothing tops Miku. Little princess Miku.

Now that I went off on a huge tangent, I'll just wrap it up by telling you this is what I wore to the Bust Craftacular. Also, I've been living in that Julie Hewett cheekie cheek and lip shine - I wear it as blush and smudge a bit on my lips and it stays all day. Favorite!

I think this may be my most favorite outfit you've worn, ever! I love how the coat is perfect over the dress... did you have to wear a petticoat to get it like that?

Seconded: that dress and coat were made for each other!

Thank you! No petticoat - just a lot of fabric to make the skirt.

Oh my goodness this is absolutely perfect! I don't think it would be possible for me to be the slightest bit unhappy while wearing this outfit. And the twirling! I would be incessantly twirling! So beautiful!

And Miss Miku is beautiful as well, is she a Pom? I am going to be getting a Boston Terrier puppy soon and I was actually thinking of the name Cupcake or Paisley for a girl. (:

Have a good day dearie! I wish the dress was in my size, I would buy it right now!
