Weardrobe Conference

For a hermit like me, it's sure going to be a busy couple of weeks. First up: The Weardrobe Conference!

I think it will be good for me to get out, meet new people and do something other than work at my sewing machine. That being said, I'm still a little nervous about it. One of the other bloggers mentioned that it felt like she was preparing for the first day of school. That's exactly what it feels like!

I'm excited to meet all of the girls, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a bad dream or two about being the little wallflower in the corner. What can I say? I am a little awkward and shy in social situations. Time for me to [wo]man up and make my mommy (who is the social antithesis of me) proud. After all, this is going to be a pretty killer experience; I feel very fortunate to be a part of it.

p.s. Remember that last post I made, about how I don't think of myself as a fashion blogger? Well I think it's time I refined my approach a little bit, lest I embarrass myself. These girls are no joke. I suggest you all check out their blogs - they're definitely worth adding to your list.

  9. No offense to the girls on the page you linked too, but I think it's funny that you're the only one looking full of joy in your photo. Refine all you want (mmmm...couture!), but don't lose your sincere enthusiasm...I think it's what makes a lot of people connect to you and it's nice that it shows through in your photos.

Here’s a list of tools you will need to start: Jewelers’ pandora jewellery wire cutters - If you can only afford one pair, get memory wire shears. pandora charms These are designed to make clean cuts on tough memory wire, so can also be used for pandora charms uk softer wires. Chain-nose pliers sometimes called cheap pandora charms needle-nose pliers – Very versatile for picking up and grasping small items, pandora charms sale bending eye pins, closing jumps rings, even closing crimp beads. discount pandora charms Round-nose pliers – Used for creating loops on beaded head and eye pins. 13. I have a lot of work to do today, which means I'm doing a lot of procrastinating. I've only been reading your blog for a few months, and today i've had a chance to look through some of your archives. Even your 2008 style is pretty hoppin'... and better than that, it's real style. Of course I love fashion, but it's hard to relate to someone rockin' a skirt that costs more than the rent in the crappy studio apartment you're busting your ass to pay for. So... I just wanted to say thanks for being something fresh. You deserve to be where you are. xo
