Florida Summer

I'll be completely honest (as if you can't tell by my outfit); I couldn't care less how I'm dressed. South Florida summers are absolutely brutal, and unless you're at the beach or in a pool, outdoor dress calls for comfort and breathable fabrics. I had no choice but to wear these matronly linen shorts, prior to their makeover (I didn't bring my machines with me). I looked a bit like a soccer mom, but it was pretty suitable for a day of running after this little munchkin:

I missed my little niece, Roxy Mae.

She spent most of her time trying to befriend the geese and a Muscovy duck. Just as she would give up trying to keep up with them, they would turn around and follow her. They were fascinated with her.

She is always in motion. I had fun trying to keep up.

Love love,
Keiko Lynn

god! your niece is sooo cute!!!
makes me miss mine and imagine how is she going to be when she gets about that age...

and about not caring about what you're dressing, belive, it's pretty understandable, try to face a brasilian summer (and winter) every year...

Ahw she's cute. Childres that age can be so much fun to be with!
And heat can be so annoying when you got a great outfit in mind but it's too warm to wear anything.

She's ADORABLE!
The het-thing is SO TRUE. Lately I had this absolutely brilliant outfit in mind but had to go for something totally different because of the sudden warmness (we in Finland aren't that used to it :D) -.-

So cute! I love your posts about your family, they're very sweet. And who says red doesn't suit you? You look amazing, as usual!

oh my goodness- your outfit is sooo cute! I completely understand....It has been 98 degrees and miserable humidity in Nashville. It is hard to be motivated to put together an outfit when you are sweating to death!
