For Mother’s Day, Roxy made cards for everyone. She dictated to Amanda, and Amanda wrote everything down verbatim. Since I’m not a mother (apparently people don’t count Miku, which I think is ridiculous), Roxy made me what she called a “Happy Day” card. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the outcome. When I’m in a bad mood, this immediately brightens my day.

If you can’t read the silver parts of the card, here is what they say (clockwise). Keep in mind that Amanda wrote down exactly what Roxy told her to write down (strict instructions from a three year old):

That’s Keiko. Your hair is going crazy. No actually it’s your face.
My name’s old
That’s Rowdy cuz I love him (Rowdy is one of our horses)
(whole entire hand)

To clarify, Axle and Pookie are two of their dogs (Lily is the third and she is an angel). They are well behaved, but apparently Roxy was afraid of them peeing on the card. My favorite part is how she wants a dolphin, so she can give it a thermometer.

My niece is crazy. I adore her!

Love love,
Keiko Lynn

That card is sooooo precious. When I used to volunteer at a daycare, I worked with children between the ages of 2 to 4, and their little phrases always made me giggle.
