This was the first time I polished my nails in years. It lasted for all of a day, before I started picking it off - I fidget. It's a shame, because they looked really pretty for that one day.
My mom is going to be appalled by this photo. Sorry, mom! The problem is, I don't even own nail polish remover. I guess I should add it to the shopping list.

yeah, I make it for about two hours with nail polish on before I get bored somewhere and start chipping it off.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling...nail polish doesn't last long with me. If I'm bored, it get's chipped off by my other hand without me even realizing it, and if I'm busy, it gets chipped off because of whatever I'm doing. I just can't get around the inevitable departure of my pretty nail polish.
ReplyDeleteThe paradox of the matter is, that if I don't paint my nails, I end up messing around with my actual nail...resulting in hangnails, and torn nails, etc. That's why I learned how to knit, thus decreasing the destruction while watching movies...:)
I used to have to polish my nails every two or three days because I always pick at it. Now, I get a $10 manicure done and it lasts about a week. Too bad I only get it done every two weeks!

If I don't wear nail polish, my nails peel; if I do...I become obsessed and if a chip occurs, the whole thing comes off and I have to do an entirely new manicure on myself... Bascially, my hands are a lose lose situation!

I like painting my nails too, but I can't because in my job we couldn't wear nails painted :( I love your eyebrows.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that you usually have immaculate makeup but never paint your nails. But it is so hard NOT to pick it though...once the first nail chips, there's no stopping me.
ReplyDeleteMy nails only ever look good for one day anyways, they chip by themselves whether or not I want them to! The color is still lovely.
