Excuse my banged up legs. I have a new bruise or scrape on a daily basis. I'd like to think it balances out the girly lace.Outfit Details:
reconstructed lace blouse - thrifted (altered by me)
silk camisole - Express
vintage Sonia Rykiel belt - Hourglass Consignment
stiff satin skirt - Postlapsaria.com (made by me)
purple heels - Nine West, gift from my mom
I'd write a little more, but I'm a little busy catching up on my email. Three down; two thousand, five hundred and fifty-two to go. No, seriously. It just keeps growing. At this point, I am just scanning the subjects and looking for emails of importance. I can't take it!

I think red and purple suit you perfectly... <3
ReplyDeleteAnd I just love you lipstick colour!
You look lovely like always :]

great choice of colors - especially the skirt. you look stunning!
ReplyDeleteThe lipstick was a dollar! Dollar Tree carries discontinued Maybelline products, which are some of the only drugstore lipsticks I'm not allergic to.
ReplyDeleteI looove your top!
ReplyDeleteThank you, everyone:)
ReplyDeleteHye .. Ive been following ur blog for nearly a month now..i just love ur style!!..How do u keep ur skin so fair n healthy?? any tips?
ReplyDeleteI love your top!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I always protect my skin from the sun. If I'm going to be outdoors for an extended period of time, I use sunscreen. My moisturizer has SPF 15, so my face is always protected.
ReplyDeleteI just use Cetaphil face cleanser, a bit of neutrogena on the spot acne treatment (all over, every night) and moisturizer. I exfoliate with honey and salt. My skin is super sensitive, though, so if I do anything to upset it, I pay the price!
The skirt is gorgeous. I love the fabric.
ReplyDeletei think this might be one of my favorite outfits of yours, minus the shoes. i feel that you really excel at putting together outfits, but when it comes to hats and shoes you have an unfortunate habit of making the wrong choice, and as a result the outfit doesn't turn out nearly as cute as it otherwise could have been. a simple brown leather or black patent shoe would have been perfect with this outfit, but your choice of the lavender shoe seems to knock heads a bit both with the overall style and look of this outfit, but the color scheme as well. lavender really doesn't collaborate with that beautiful plum-tinted raspberry shade you're wearing.
ReplyDeletethat being said, i do think you look beautiful, as always. by taking my advice, however, and paying more attention to your choice of footwear and how it blends with the rest of your outfit to create a look, i think you can really take your style up to the next level.
i never really leave comments but i had to this time to say the colour on that skirt is absolutely divine!!!!!
ReplyDeletelove the look especially how the shinniness/silkiness of the skirt balances out the frilliness of the top! have fun going through all your emails :D

Wow! I love the colour contrast between the top and the skirt. Also the way the top almost has a Pirates of the Caribbean vibe with the cream and the lace but the skirt pulls it back and makes it look cute instead of costumey :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the email thing, I feel your pain. Ever since my laptop broke I've been playing catchup and I'm on the verge of deleting everything.
U look gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a gorgeous blouse. Your outfit looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteStunning, as always, and so romantic!
ReplyDeletewhat is the color of that skirt? so beautiful, sweet. just perfect <3

ReplyDeletethat outfit is gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI am out to check out your store now:)
i just love your style, and although i dont comment always, i'm here everytime :)
ReplyDeleteI read your blog from time to time and thought I would leave a tip. I'm a cosmetologist and specially certified in microdermabrasion and wet blade facials. I wouldn't use cetaphil or neutrgena products because the ph levels are not low enough to penetrate your skin, almost every drugstore brand is like this. You should use products that are cosmecueticals because they are FDA approved and guarenteed to cleanse well. Also you should always use a sunBLOCK -anything above SPF 15- sunSCREEN doesn't protect your skin from the damaging rays and you'll be able to see all that in 10- 20 yrs.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skirt, beautiful pictures and amazing girl!love this blog!
ReplyDeleteHey! sorry I never did get to email you to say that I received the scarf in the end - I've posted pictures of myself wearing it on my blog! I love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
nice skirt! :D
ReplyDeleteYou have such gorgeous lips and always wear the most striking colors on them. What are your top 5 favorite/most used lipsticks?
ReplyDeleteThank you! My staple lipsticks are:
ReplyDeleteClinique Bamboo Pink (shimmery neutral)
Clinique Black Honey (sheer red; it makes you look like you just had a popsicle)
MAC Hug Me (neutral, slight gloss)
MAC Dubonnet (rich, deep red)
Maybelline Wetshine in Pink Carats (shimmery pink - discontinued)
The one I'm wearing in this picture is Maybelline Heather. Another lip staple for me is MAC Alta Moda, which is a prolongwear. It's super dark and dramatic, so it's reserved for late nights/special occasions.
You need to stop being so popular so you don't have to answer thousands of emails!
