Remember when I said I had a rule about selling/donating a clothing item whenever I buy something new? Well, I haven't adhered to it. I did take several bags of clothing to Beacon's Closet and got a huge amount of credit, but it still seems as though I'm bringing in more than I'm taking out. I think I'll have to clean out the wardrobe and sell some of my things. It is getting out of hand! I don't shop at regular clothing stores, ever...I haven't even been to any since the holidays. But with my credit at Beacon's Closet and my weekly thrifting ritual, forget it. I'm running out of places to store things.

My little bow hat isn't as epic as Aretha's, but it will have to do.

Outfit Details:

I ♥ your top. Honestly, if only I could find good tops like that locally.
ReplyDeleteI should say, I got inspired by you. I dropped by our local thrift store and got me a very classic dress...now all I need to do is learn how to alter it. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm more than happy to take any clothing off your hands.
xo!
I pretty much die for that dress and jacket! Definitely let us know when you are going to sell some of your wardrobe... I am all over it.
ReplyDelete10 points to that outfit ;)
ReplyDeletewell, if you need to get rid of some of your clothes, sell them on postlapsaria! i love seeing your second hand/vintage finds up there. i feel like san diego is so hit or miss when i go thrifting!
ReplyDeleteThe bow hat and you becomes one. You are so beautiful looking on the photos.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute...I love that dress!
ReplyDeleteThat's always my problem too, we live in a small space so there really is no room for anything new. Whenever I buy, I have to donate just as much away.
ReplyDeleteGirl, isn't it absolutely freezing in New York right now? Kudos to you for braving it!
ReplyDeleteIm lovin your blog. you have amazing dresses! kiss, gracinha
ReplyDeleteI'm going thrifting tomorrow! I hope that I can find something good in the vintage section... You've also inspired me to try my hand at sewing, and you've gotten me into the burt's bees thing too.
ReplyDeletelove how colorful you are!!!
ReplyDeletethose tights seems to be highly opaque...are you wearing three pairs as well???
ReplyDeleteNope, just one pair. I think they're 80 denier, which is why they're so opaque.
